About Me

“Quality is never an accident. It’s always the result of high attention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, skillful execution.  It represents the wise choice of many alternatives.”

I am a mother, trained chef and self-proclaimed wellness junkie. Over the years I have struggled to combine the two until came upon the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I found my passions were a natural fit and in-fact a necessary component to good health.

I have struggled with Lupus for 25+ years. As a result I have been prescribed many prescriptions and rode the weight loss / gain roller-coaster. At one point I was told children most likely would never happen.

I made the decision that I was not going to continue down this road and IIN (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) was beckoning. In 2010 I enrolled and so began my journey. I was approaching the dreaded middle age, 40+ pounds overweight, and taking 15 medications daily. I was in constant pain and the simple task of walking was a challenge. As each class was put before me, I sampled the lifestyle and took each recommendation as though my life depended on it. Turns out that it did – by graduation in 2011, I was pregnant!

Now let’s jump ahead. As I mentioned, I am a mother of a healthy & happy girl, off 14 medications, and let’s not forget the weight! I have lost those 40 pounds along with pesky pregnancy weight.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.

As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.
